What is a serving size?

A serving size is equal to a medium piece of fruit. Small fruits like Cuties/Halos brand tangerines and some pluots and apricots are considered to be half a serving size while bunches of grapes or bags of cherries are considered to be multiple servings.

What kind of fruit is in the assortment?

We strive to provide several different varieties of fruit in each of our Corporate Assortments. Throughout the year you will always have apples, pears, oranges and a large selection of bananas – as they’re the office favorite. Then we add quality seasonal fruits like plums, nectarines, strawberries, pomegranates, persimmons, grapes, etc. We finish the assortment with specialty fruits like avocados, mangos, kiwis, grapefruits, lemons, guavas and more.

Can I make requests?

We understand that some of the fruits are so popular that there is just not enough to go around and that all may not love some of the specialty or seasonal fruits. Each of our boxes are carefully hand packed with general popularity in mind, however we can customize the contents of a boxes slightly. Requests like "more bananas" or "no kiwis" are noted, but we generally don’t offer stone fruits in the winter or a specific number of a particular fruit.

What time is delivery?

We can almost always deliver to your company within a given 2 hour window with the latest requested delivery time being 10am-noon. Delivery times can fluctuate during holiday weeks due the adjusted delivery schedules of our customers. Once regular deliveries are resumed, delivery times are very consistent, but due to traffic and unforeseen obstacles, time requests are not guaranteed.

How is the fruit delivered?

We arrange the fruit in sturdy cardboard trays and place them into protective produce delivery boxes. Upon delivery we either leave the entire box unopened at your desired drop location, or we can remove the cardboard fruit tray and place it wherever you like.

Can I customize my schedule?

YES! You can get delivery every week day, every week, every other week, once a quarter, by specific dates or just call in or order online as you need!

What are my payment options?

We accept all major credit cards, checks, ACH payments and cash. We offer Net 30 terms and bill at the end of the delivery week via email. Our billing cycle is weekly but we can change your account to monthly invoices. Discounted yearly subscriptions are available for easy billing! Please contact Sales@Hi5Produce for more information.

Are the fruits ready to eat?

Most of the fruit has been previously washed at the farm before it goes to the market, but it's always a good idea to wash or wipe your fruit just before eating it.

What is Certified organic?

In produce, organic means that the growers and processors have used methods that preserve the environment and avoid synthetic materials such as pesticides and antibiotics. For more information about organic please reference the United States Department of Agriculture's (USDA) definition here.

How many different types of fruit are provided in the corporate packages?

All of our conventional corporate packages are packed with at least 10 different types of fruit. If substitutions are made at the request of the customer, there may be less. All of our Certified Organic boxes are packed with at least 8 different varieties. Again, if there are substitutions at made at the request of the customer, there may be less.
